The Gingerbread Scone ~ Coming Soon!

I'm the holiday scone. I arrive in big tins wrapped with red ribbon. I hide under Christmas trees on snowy days. White pine needles poke my heavy glaze. Sometimes I'm carried in heavy coat pockets and brought by children to movie theaters to be nibbled on. Everybody loves me because I'm sweet as molasses, filled with rolled oats and raisins, and topped with a maple frosting.
